(10.04 Lucid Lynx) and should point out that it is semi transparent. Very handy and a big help in OO and other applications where the only ruler is fixed in a margin. I move this around the screen. Would be nice if I could make it semitransparent -- but that would be a bell and whistle, I have found it extremely useful. Just started using the Ubuntu version.
